Dear Reader,

Welcome to RO eLearning blackboard. We hope with this, we are able to help you in any way we can and to share more knowledge regarding diamonds, gemstones or any other type of stones. Before anything else,
here i'd like to share how it all started... the story behind my passion with gemstones started years ago when I was in Sri Lanka.

During my family visit to Sri Lanka,
we visited a jewellery shop. In case you're wondering why we visited jewellery
shop in Sri Lanka, well... Sri Lanka is known for their famous blue Sapphires. While we were looking at Sapphires, all I could think about was, why are we taking a long time to look at stones. As a kid or any kid at that age, I would only see it as a blue stone. Then I saw a man looking through a loupe and I asked him what it was and what he was looking at. He then explained to me what a loupe was and what was he looking at. He was trying to identify if it was heated or unheated. He then tried to show me what he was looking at through a microscope. I was fascinated and intrigued by the inclusions in Sapphires. From my eyes through the microscope it looks like there was another galaxy in the Sapphire. Since then I started looking at things differently and I knew that was what I wanted to do. To be able to look at stones, diamonds etc...

Sapphires were the one that started 'the spark' to my interest in gemstones. I hope to one day, I would inspire you the way he had inspired me.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I adore wearing gems, but not because they are mine. You can't possess radiance, you can only admire it.
